Like many people in this industry I have loaded trucks in the wee hours of the morning; driven to the venue; unloaded; spent the day setting up stage in all conditions (extreme heat, extreme cold, sun and rain – even snow once in London). I have worked the show; done the pack out; loaded the truck; driven back to the warehouse; unloaded the truck… and finally crawled home to bed 28hrs after leaving it”.
